do any of the old Zone players still play?
Carol? from Canada?

This is Wilirb (driver) from the Zone days, i miss this game, downloaded the game for the lobby and spanked the lobby challenge (might very good is it). But I was suprised how much I remember and forgot at the same time.

Is there an online place to meet and play where there are people?

hope this fines all that know me well!

I see you've followed the breadcrumbs to boardspace.net.
The robot player there is not bad, and you can get a list
of the human players

http://boardspace.net/cgi-bin/boardspace_rankings.cgi?game=tr

Click on the individual nicknames for more information
about he player - email and likely times they play.

The best bet is still to arrange a game in advance.

Hello,

I never played in the Zone, but if you are looking for Trax players, there are lots at www.goldtoken.com. They are turn-based, not real-time games though.

If you are willing to play by email, there is Richard's Pbem Server, www.gamerz.net/pbmserv/. While I am not world's fastest player :-), I basically never turn down a game (userid: lyman).

Also,
Those who play "per turn" Trax on Richard's PBeM Server can use the graphical user interface here on traxgame.com to view their games. This includes an easy way to try out different moves via the "Client" player prior to sending your move. I prefer this interface to the one at GoldToken.com.
